    As Executive Projects Editor, my duties included conceiving and executing special issues and packages, overseeing the brand’s single-subject bookazines, orchestrating native ad opportunities, plus week-to-week top editing throughout.

  • InStyle Magazine

    As Executive Editor, I was responsible for managing cover stories, celebrity features, news, awards-show coverage, parties and home/entertaining coverage. I provided strategic direction for various departments; conceived and reinvented annual packages/franchises. I also promoted the brand by collaborating on original digital content for InStyle.com and social media.

  • Show People Magazine

    As Editor in Chief, I oversaw all editorial/photographic aspects of quarterly entertainment magazine focused on celebrities in the theater, published by Time Inc and Clear Channel. In addition, I collaborated with the publisher on ad sales, events and promotions.

  • Time Out New York

    My duties included editing the Film section of this weekly entertainment magazine, as well as writing features, seasonal previews, and reviews.

    I wrote cover stories on subjects including Julianne Moore, Kevin Spacey, Judi Dench and more. I also covered and reported from a spate of film festivals, from Sundance to Sarajevo. Concurrently, I wrote and edited theater criticism, profiles and interviews.

  • Talking Movies

    I was an occasional on-camera reporter for Talking Movies, the BBC World News' flagship cinema review and magazine show. I worked with renowned British presenter Tom Brook to create content for this monthly series covering all the latest news from the world of cinema. I wrote segment scripts, acted as segment presenter, performed voice-over work, and collaborated on editing.
